Cannot remove work account as account no longer exists

Hi, I'm trying to remove a work account from my personal computer, however I cannot access the account as the company no longer exists. When I try to sign in it just says the username is incorrect, and when I try to re-gain access to the account it says the account doesn't exist. Is there any other way of removing it?
