When reformatting a pc, how do you choose which drive windows 10 downloads to

I'm attempting to reformat and reinstall windows onto my computer but every time I have it's downloaded to my hard drive when I want it to go onto my ssd, I also don't have the skills to uninstall a hard drive from my computer so ideally a method without having to take the other hard drive out would be great.
