Why i cant speak to character in C.AI app while doing phone call with the character on that app. .?

Iam using my laptop lenovo windows 10 pro, Why i cant speak to character in C.AI app while doing phone call with the character on that app. .? But when using the microphone for others like zoom, or recording it is fine.My voice cant be heard by the chracter because there is no respond by the character.. i check all setting both from C.AI app and my laptop the microphone is on.
