Proxy authentication

Hello all,

We are currently using Wingate for our proxy server. When the users open a
internet browser, a pop up box appears and the user enters there
credentials. We have recently reinstalled SBS 2003 and we would like the
users to authenticate using the active directory when they log in. I have
had a look at the Wingate help files which aren't great but I cant find
anything. Hope someone can help or has any suggestions.

Cheers

It needs to support NTLM authentication to do this. Weren't the credentials
they were entering before their AD ones? or was there a seperate user DB in
wingate?

Unfortunately the users were in a separate database in Wingate as it does
our internet filtering. However both servers are being replaced so we would
like to get everything using the AD. I assume its the program which needs to
support NTLM. Thank you for your help
