Can’t login to Surface Pro due to old Microsoft account at login.

I have an old laptop we set up using a Microsoft Account that we don’t know the password for, and the only home number set up is from an old employee, so we can’t use that verification. The first screen is the Microsoft login screen, can we bypass this somehow? It may sound dodgy, but I have only good intentions, and understand this is a security thing). It’s a Microsoft Surface Pro Book. Thanks!
