Hi, I have windows 10 installed on my laptop and run several troubleshooting and repair options with no success. Just get a message saying ‘ something went wrong. Try opening settings later, with a symbol and on/off switch button below. Some test results suggest wuauserv is missing. In Services.msc, i cannot start update orchestrator service, windows update or windows update medic service each returning error 1053. Also, I cannot successfully run system restore to an earlier date in the hope of correcting the issue. This has been ongoing for some time now.
