Cant update pc

My Pc wont update to 2024-10 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5044380) and its affecting the computers performance.Anytime i attempt to update it, it ends with Install error - 0x800f0991 and i keep retrying to no avail. does anyone know hot to fix this?
