How to change my bios mode from legacy to uefi?

I have went in my bios and changed the Windows 10 WHQL from csm to uefi in order to enable secure boot. Also when i go to trouble shoot i do not see the UEFI settings after clicking on advanced options. I have even tried to change my hard drives from MBR to GPT but it still does not work. Also when i change my boot settings from legacy uefi to uefi my system does not boot. I have been searching up various videos and articles but to no avail.
