Unable to use my Microsoft licence

My office is suddenly saying it is unlicensed. When I put my product key in it is saying that it needs an e mail address.The e mail address that it is linked to is not one that I recognise (I have never used this e mail address) so I am unable to provide a password for it.Is there anyway of being able to use my Microsoft license without access to this e mail?Thanks
