i cannot change my windows customization

so when i first started up my pc, i had changed the colors of everything (dumb idea, couldnt help it) and this was before i genuinely had everything set up, but now that i do, ive discovered these settings affect so much and break a few apps, i cant reset my god awful customization settings to default because of not having windows activated, is there any way to fix this? dont really want to spend $140 just to change the colors.
