Why does my mouse slow down whenever I open streaming softwares such as Youtube and Netflix?

Recently, my mouse started slowing down whenever I opened YouTube and clicked on a video to start watching something. The same goes for Netflix, when I open the app it becomes slower, and when I play a movie it slows down even more.
