How to remove grey border on file / folder when I have clicked off the item?

Each time I go through my files / folders on file explorer, whenever I click off one file it will always have this grey border around it and I have no idea why, anyone have any ways to remove it? I've tried to look it up but I haven't been able to find anything that has the same problem. On windows 10looks like this:
