KB5048239 icons not showing

I recenty installed update KB504823 on my windows 10 machine, but now I can see my desktop icons, in the taskbar my icons are gone and I can't click on properties in my desktop icons.Is there any fix to this? I have restored multiple recoveries from my machine because this update messes things up for me.
