Laptop only works plugged in even after replacing battery

Just as I said, my HP OMEN (15-ax001la) works only when plugged in.A couple years ago when unplugging it shut off immediately, I thought the battery died and left it as is. Now after I purchased and installed new original battery turns out I doesn’t charge at all, same problem I had with the other battery, Ran battery info view and it detects the batteryAlready tried uninstalling and disabling battery and ac drivers from device managementAlso restored energy settings Turns on amber light as its charging but only shows “0% available” and not charging or doing anything else
