Why isn't Phone Link syncing recent photos with my Windows 10 PC?

I have Phone Link installed on my Samsung Android Mobile and my Lenovo Windows 10 PC. Up until recently my texts and photos have been syncing OK, put now recent photos have not been syncing from my phone to PC - why and how can I fix it please?
