Windows crashed while gaming, game files are in external hard drive

While playing genshin impact (the game files are in a external drive), my laptop suddenly chashed and blue screen appeared. After reboot, BIOS says my laptop has no bootable drive. But then, when I unplugged my external hard drive, everything goes back to normal.
