Why is Everything Gone

I was running as a file space, so I was going through files to delete. I saw the onedrive app taking up 11 gb's, and deleted it as I never used onedrive anyway. I tried to put it into the recycle bin, But it said that it was too long and I needed to permenently delete it, so I did. After it deleted, my entire desktop was clear and many important files are gone. How do I fix this.
