Re: Adobe Flash Player 9 popup obscenity
(using W2K Pro SP4)
My screen shot below (initial editing this post) illustrates this always,
immoveable, ontop of applications and desktop, software
poopup feces
1. The popup is triggered on many websites (whose tech support reps. cannot
help & who advise to contact macromedia - note: the active rt. Click popup
link goes to"
http://www.macromedia.com/software/flash/about/
2. Macromedia's non-support web site advises that non-paying clients do not
qualify for direct phone support their online FAQ proves just as helpless
and arrogant. (I followed their posted instructions to download uninstall
software that reports it's 'successful' but fails to stifle the poopup from
defficating whenever it chooses on my desktop)
3. I Googled the Internet and found many posted, identical complaints but
no solutions.
4. I searched for registry keys to alter or delete without success.
Grateful for your suggestions! Cursing does not help. If I were a lawyer I
'd promote a class action suit. --- Blithe
