Windows App (New) does't allow me to sign in to remote desktop

I can login and connect to my work desktop using my home desktop (Mac Mini with M1 chip and 16 MB memory) and OS15.1.1 and Microsoft Remote Desktop. Ver. 10.9.10 (2327). I can log in the MAI VPN but cannot connect to my work desktop (MacBook Pro with M1 chip and 16 MB memory) and OS 15.1.1, however, this laptop updated to Microsoft Windows App, ver. 11.0.7 (2452). I cannot re-install Remote Desktop on this machine. So the problem seems to be related to the change in the Microsoft remote access app. I get the error code 0x104 Any ideas!
