How do we clear or delete the temporary folders

In win xp, we can clear/delete the TIF by %temp%, how do we clear the TIF in
Win98SE? In short, what must I do besides deleting my own unwanted folders in
order to free up space in my hdd. TIA

In Internet Explorer, on the Tools menu, click Internet Options. On
the General tab, in the center section under Temporary Internet Files,
push Delete Files.
