Upgrade file server 2k to 2003 keep server name

Hey All,

I have a couple of Windows 2000 servers that are just file servers - roaming
profiles, shares, etc. that I want to upgrade to new hardware running Windows
2003 and keep the server names. I already have a new Win 2003 server running
and joined to my domain with a different name 'server1'.

What are the steps I need to take to get this done?

Do I just need to copy all the folders/files I want to keep to a 3rd device,
rename the new server to take over the identity of the old server, and copy
the folders/files to the new server?

What file copy utilities are good for copying and maintaining rights?
Robocopy???

Thanks,
Mike

So, I found the MS File Server Migration Toolkit and I have successfully
tested it by copying files from an exsiting server to my new server. Will
there be a problem if I transfer all the files from a current production
server to my new server and then rename the new server to replace the
production server?

'production_server1' -> copy files -> 'new_server1'
rename 'new_server1' to 'production_server1'
