Remote Desktop Protocol

Is there anyway to use remote desktop to a PC, but not have it lock the console? I need to remote in using the same username as on the console. I am using XP SP2. Is what I am trying to do impossible?

Yes, it's impossible. Try an alternative product, e.g. WinVNC.
