teamviewer safe?

Hi,

Someone recommended that I use TeamViewer http://www.teamviewer.com (free
for personal use) to connect to my Dads computer for remote support.

Does anyone know if this product is safe, does it contain any viruses or
spyware?

PS: XP remote assistance is not an option for various reasons.

TeamViewer is safe and it is great. It is free for personal use and works
extremely well. I've used it many times to help my family and friends. It's
crazy-expensive to use for professional work but if you just want to help
your Dad, it's perfect. I highly recommend it.
