When connecting to Int. Explorer, I receive an offer to upgrade to 7.0. I
can't use this version with Win 98. However, I can't get rid of this screen
offering the upgrade. It appeared last week and there is no delete option.
The screen recognizes that my operating system won't support 7.0 but it
doesn't go away. Any thoughts? Thank you for the help!

How bizarre!

IE Tools | Internet Options | Advanced | Browsing | Automatically check for
IE updates (disable/uncheck).

Some folks in Redmond got their collective thumbs up their nether regions.
Come to think of it, I'm pretty sure I heard a few of 'em making
presentations last week. <eg>
