NAVOPTX.DAT?

c:\NAVOPTX.DAT contains these two lines:

[NSPlugin]
Enabled=0

The file sounds like a Norton antivirus (NAV) file. Since I no longer
use NAV, I'd like to remove it. However, web searching doesn't turn
up any confirmation that it is a NAV file. Any suggestions?

BTW, NSPlugin sounds like a Netscape plugin file, and I haven't used
Netscape for ages, either. However, I'm not sure how much of the file-
naming conventions are inheritted by Firefox or Thunderbird, so I
didn't use that as a rationale for deleting it, either.

need to download/run the...

Sheesh. I wonder why in the heck it's so hard to develop a proper
uninstall.

Good luck. (Shouldn't take more the 5 minutes, start to finish.)

Norton applications have always been notorious for not uninstalling cleaning
and needing a Removal Tool to get rid of all the leftovers.
