Is there a procedure to set an application to run as a service under 2003
server?

Thanks

The Windows NT Resource Kit provides two utilities, Instrsrv.exe and Srvany.exe, that allow you to create a Windows user-defined service for Windows applications. This link may help,

Dumb question, but will this work in 2003 server? It says NT and 2000.

Mr. Lin,

I'm hoping you can point me in the right direction. I have read the
referenced kb Q137980 article and I have a question. Is there a way
to create an install app that will do all of the steps in the
article? I'm looking to create an application and have it deployed
organization wide, so going to each system will not be an option.
Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Bob
