First off, depending on the hardware and bios setup, TI will probably work
for you. I was simply relating the problems I had with my specific
hardware.
TI restoration result with 98/ME resulted with the 98/ME boot screen coming
up, then, nothing, waited over an hour. With XP, said hal.dll could not be
found or was corrupted.
As a precaution, consider saving the image to writable CD in ISO 9660 format
(standard data format). Pull the current hard drive out, and use an
alternative hard drive as test bed for restoration.
