Windows.exe error

Recently everytime I reboot my computer, it takes an unusually long time to
load and an error pops up with:
Windows.exe at the top of the bar
saying: Something about the it not being found and doing a search on
finding it

Could someone please explain to me what this is and how to correct this
any input would be vital.

The windows.exe file belongs to a trojan. Either you have cleaned your
computer and a reference to the file is still in startup or your machine
isn't clean but that particular file has been damaged. Make sure your
computer is completely virus/malware-free.

Standard caveat: If the procedures look too complex - and there is no
shame in admitting this isn't your cup of tea - take the machine to a
professional computer repair shop (not your local version of
BigComputerStore/GeekSquad). Please be aware that not all local shops
are skilled at removing malware and even if they are, your computer may
be so infested that Windows will need to be clean-installed. Have all
your data backed up before you take the machine into a shop.

If you are sure that the computer is 100% clean, you can use the System
Configuration Utility to take the entry out of startup. Do not do this
until you are sure the machine is clean.

Start>Run>msconfig [enter]

This brings up the System Configuration Utility. Look on the Startup tab
and find the probable culprit. Uncheck the box next to its name, Apply
and OK out. You don't need to restart immediately, but the next time you
do you'll get a dialog saying you've used the Utility. Just tick the box
that says in effect, "don't bother me about this again".

Important - Do not use the System Configuration Utility to stop
processes. Instead, use Start>Run>services.msc [enter]
