I am forwarding this reply to both the performance group you replied to, and the
thread in win98.gen_discussion, where all the other respondents are posting and
waiting to hear from you.

What were the exact errors scandisk found? I would be concerned about having to
make two undo floppies in one scandisk session. If it was a file system problem,
you may be OK, but if there is an underlying issue with the disk surface, you may
need to consider replacing the drive soon.

Without running Scandisk again, look for a file in the root of the C:\ drive named
scandisk.log
C:\scandisk.log

If found, open it with Notepad, and if it contains any info about the last Scandisk
run and the errors found, copy/paste the text from the log into a reply to this
post.
