Yea, Linux is more like a missing link.

Ask Austria how their Linux migration is going.

Hint: it ain't going. They are abandoning the migration to Linux and
switching to Vista.

And while you are over in that neck of the earth, stop by on Munich Germany
and ask them about their totally borked Linux migration that is years
behind and will be totally obsolete by the time they finish it.
That is if they ever finish it.

This is how they are putting Linux in the laptops.

Not correct - they're adopting some dual-boot because of some lock-in to
IE which they've been unable to crack so far.

The article says it's because of lock-in to Internet Explorer, but that
they will continue with a dual-boot system using the existing Wienux
install.

This should probably be raised with the competition authorities, since
linking Schlaumause to specific IE plugins is obviously anti-competitive.
Neelie Krooes might want to add it to her list. Once the cost of
Vista-capable machines is understood, then it seems most likely that
more effort will be put into resolving the underlying problem which is a
Schlaumause-IE lock-in, nothing to do with Wienux itself.
