Outlook Express email problem (Windows 2000 professional)

I recently discovered (when I had no response to 2 job applications!) that
when I click on an email address within a received email and send it - it
doesn't register - the person it was sent to doesn't receive it and it does
not appear in my sent folder. If I copy and paste the address into a new
email, it works just fine. Roadrunner says it's a Microsoft problem
Microsoft wants $49 just to hear the problem - can someone out there help
me???

I do not have the Windows 2000 software - the computer was a gift already
loaded and the software didn't come with it.

You will find the Outlook Express experts in one of
the Outlook Express newsgroups.

Thanks for the quick response. I'm new to newsgroups - where do I find an
Outlook Express newsgroup?
