Permissions -- Unique Issue

Re: XP-Pro.
Only one user Account -- Admin.

I have an Application("exe") which contains a DLL that is registered in
:\windows\system32".

The DLL provides a link to an Enterprise server and was NOT written by me.

My Application ("exe") is in "c::\myprograms\test".

Is there anyway to set directory permissions
to make sure any unknown functions within the DLL cannot get outside of the
directory?
If so, how, and which directories?

In other words I want to make sure the Enterprise server CANNOT use any
functions within the DLL to access anything on the client other than
providing the read/write data link.

Asked and answered in the other newsgroup to which you posted. Please don't
multipost it makes more work for everyone and will get you *less* help,
not more. See this for why:

If you have forgotten where you posted or can't find your post, use Google
Groups Advanced Search and search for your name.

Malke:

Did a google search as well as subscribed to all other
microsoft.public.security.* newsgroups and could not find other post.

I did have a problem with Outlook Express dropping all newgroups after 1st
post so I know I made one -- just can't find it.

Where do I go from here????????
