Problems with Folder Redirection

C

I just enabled folder redirection using group policies. Basically I enabled
this for Application Data, Desktop, and My Documents. Now for some reason
we've been having issues, so I deleted the GPO and server shares, but for
some reason the workstations are still trying to sync.

How can I remove rfolder redirection altogether?

Thanks

this specific redirection looks great before applying...many software
becomes dumb when trying ..\ from one of this folder as they don't come back
to the root profile folder..

Which policy removal did you choose?

I learned the hard way that deleting the GPO itself doesn't actually fix the
issue. The Application Data, Desktop, My Documents, and Start Menu areas of
the GPO must be edited to 'redirect the folder back to the local user profile
location' when the policy is removed . Then, the GPO must be de-linked and
de-enforced, and then removed altogether. The all the settings revert back to
the local profiles.

Or at least this worked for me
