DSL internet

Wondering if I would hit any speed limitations switching to DSL that
has an advertised download speed of 7 Meg.

I currently am hooked up to cable internet and am having no problems
with 5 Meg speed.

Any other issues I might encounter using 98SE?

There is nothing specific to 98 that would limit download speeds from DSL.

You might want to get one of the tweaks from
http://www.speedguide.net/downloads.php especially if you are use pppoe as
the smaller MTU can cause some slowness though it's really never been that
noticeable to me.
