backup security template

Hi all,
in my network lab I taking practise in using security template in this
regard I would like first to save my current computer settings before
applying the security template besides the Secedit /rollback commnad is
there any other tool or command to save my whole current computer settings?

Is it 2003? Then install GPMC and you have a backup option for policies.
