Microsoft Word Viewer 2003 on Vista 64?

Can anyone confirm whether Microsoft Word Viewer 2003 is compatible with
Vista 64? The "Supported Operating Systems" don't list Vista at all and
Microsoft's Compatibility Site makes no mention of the viewer. I hesitate to
download and install until I'm sure.
Thanks!

Why not use the 2007 version then?

Thanks for your response. I couldn't find any such version. The Web directed
me to their 2003 Version page and searches on Microsoft site didn't turn up
any others. Strangely, the one that I found with your link says it's the
2007 Version and is listed for Vista, but appears to be the same one. It
says it is "Microsoft Word Viewer 2003" when you go to install it. (Not sure
whether all the version numbers are exactly the same, though. Perhaps 2003
was just updated.) I installed it anyway, and Vista hasn't complained. I'll
find out soon if .doc files will open OK with it.
Thanks again,
Lola

Thanks, yes that is the one I eventually did download and install....but
it's still named Word Viewer 2003. Perhaps they updated it, but just didn't
change the name. (The page says it's Word Viewer 2007 and has added Vista to
the System Requirements, but it's still named "Word Viewer 2003" when you go
to install it and in the program files afterward. The actual version numbers
may have changed--I don't have both to compare.)
