Unable to decrypt folders on windows vista

can anybody help me please ive got some folders on my computer that i
encrypted for privacy but now i want to decrypt them and i can't i go to the
advanced option and the "Encrypt contents to secure data" question is greyed
out with a tick in the box and i cant remove the tick please can someone
help?????
