COM Surogate has stopped working

I am getting the error "COM Surrogate has stopped working" whenever I boot
Vista. I am using Ultimate version, 32 bit. If I reboot, the problem
sometimes goes away, but not always. This problem just started happening a
few days ago. I recently installed Pinnacle Studio 11, which is their latest
update for Vista, but it was some time after that when I started to get the
message. I would appreciate any help I can get on this. Thanks!

Thanks for your help, Malke! I really appreciate your taking the time to
point me in the right direction. The trick worked to help me identify which
program it was that was causing the problem. It is evidently not quite ready
fro prime-time in Vista. When I disabled the dlhost.exe, it also caused the
program in question to stop working. I dual boot XP and Vista, so I'll
install it on XP, and that should take care of the problem.

Again, thanks for your help!

You're very welcome. I'm glad that sorted it for you. Thanks for taking
the time to post back.

I wasn't having any luck trying to figure it out on my own, so, again, thank
you very much.
