Links not working

Dave

I'm using Vista Home Premium and Office 2007 Enterprise.
After I've opened word for example, a shortcut is made and added to 'recent
opened programs' list. However it will not work. I click on it and nothing
happens. If I drag the shortcut to the desktop it works fine but if I drag it
back again it stops
working. I've also tried excel and publisher which are also the same.

Another fault which may be connected is, if I right click on Computer then
open properties there is a link for Device Manger in the top left corner.
This also doesn't work.

I have all updates for Windows and Office.

Any ideas please?

I have the same problem. Running Vista Ultimate and Office 2007
Ultimate. Real pain in the a**. Also, when I search for programs
through the Start Menu, the links don't always work.

Thanks Sam, at least I'm not alone with this problem and hopefully MS will
patch it
