CTL3D32.dll Error

When several of my programs open, I get an error that says CTL3D32.dll
is not the correct version, this version is for Win/NT systems. I did
not intentionally change it, so I assume some program did. Oddly
enough the applications do load and work properly after I click OK.
Should I just return the original one form the 98 install files?

Thanks

Be sure to scan the download for Win98 for viruses before using.

That was easy. Oddly enough that file was not the same size as the
one from the Win98se CD. My guess is that it's an updated version
from MS. I dont see the error messages anymore.

Now if only I knew what program put the wrong file in windows. I
suppose its something written for both Win98 and the NT versions like
W2000 and XP, and they included the NT version.

Thanks for the help.

Nicely-presented page.

I like the humour in
http://www.glinx.com/support/article/00000.htm
(in the "Procedure" and "Effect" sections).

http://www.glinx.com/support/article/ looks a useful list and I haven't
seen mention of Trumpet Winsock for a long time!
