Windows calendar. wincal.exe

I have just started to use a new machine with Vista installed and in trying
to transfer info from the previous calendar in XP seems to have damaged my
Vista file.

Is there anyway I can download a replacement wincal.exe file, delete the
iffy one and start again?

Alternatively, could I delete the damaged file completely and transfer in
the XP version instead? Incidentally I prefer the layout of the older version.

Thanks in advance.

Mick

Sorry if this is in the wrong place. There are so many groups and sections,
aren't there?

Should be a copy of the original in the folder

C:\Windows\winsxs\x86_microsoft-windows-calendar_31bf3856ad364e35_6.0.6000.16386

Jon,

Many thanks. I couldn't find what you mentioned. However I have fiound the
original Works 8 disc and the loading appears to have worked. All I need to
sort out now is the deletions of what I don't want and I'll be getting there.
Cheers.
Mick.
