"Windows Update" fails to perform updates

[AWS]

Hi,My O/S is "Windows 7 Ultimate". "Windows Update Troubleshooter" is reporting the following problems:

1. Potential Windows Update Database error detected 0x80070002
   
2. Problem with Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS).
   

How do I fix this???Cheers.
