Administrators AWS Posted March 7, 2013 Administrators Posted March 7, 2013 We have two computers on our network that have, for the past two years, had problems installing updates from Microsoft. The updates (most of them .NET framework 2.0 SP2 security updates) seem to get installed when you run Microsoft Updates but then later the same updates are offered again, and again, and again. I’ve tried many suggested fixes posted on the Microsoft Support websites including running the FixIT utilities. These tell me that the problem has been fixed but they aren’t. I’ve scanned these two computers for viruses and malware and haven’t found anything out of the ordinary. I’ve even tried to “repair” the installation of .NET framework 2.0 SP2 but was unsuccessful.
