.NET Security update installation on every system shutdown

So, I downloaded Samsung KIES, a truly dire and broken piece of software, to use with my new Samsung device. Now, my PC downloads two .NET updates (KB2656351 and KB2600217) every single time I start Windows, and installs them when I shut down. The installation

process takes a good 20 minutes each time, which is extremely annoying. Uninstalling both KIES and the drivers for the Galaxy device hasn't solved the problem.
