error code 80070017 when updating

Hi

 

I am running Window 7 home premium x64

 

For some time now I have not been able to download and install:

 

Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer 9 for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2792100)

Download size: 27.1 MB

 

It always fails but all other updates seem to be OK includin Bit defender updates.

 

I keep getting error code 80070017

 

I have looked for help specific to this problem but nothing seems to fit. One Microsoft website refers to Xp, Vista, 2000 etc for this error code but not Windows 7.

 

Any help would be appreciated.
