Actually, I got my Dell inspiron 15(model-3521) laptop where windows 8 is pre-loaded. But, when I first started it, it asked for the activation and I didnt have either of the activation key or the windows 8 OS DVD with me(in case of win 7 laptops, the

product key is written on the bottom of the laptop, but there is no such thing in my win 8 laptop). There is only a product ID written on the control panel. now, i'm skeptical about my OS status whether it is genuine or it is fake! please help.
