Administrators AWS Posted March 14, 2013 Administrators Posted March 14, 2013 I was using ZoneAlarm firewall before I was convinced that Windows Firewall is good enough. Although since I uninstalled ZoneAlarm and started using win firewall, I have trouble with several things such as windows update, defender definition updates, Dropbox syncing... I do not want to keep updating things manually. That defeats the purpose of automatic updating. I want things to go back to normal.When I used the tool: http://support.microsoft.com/gp/windows-update-issues/en-usI have got several errors, all except one of which were fixed. This one issue was about "Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS)"I have stopped and restarted this service from services.msc but nothing changed.I have tried all the trivial solutions but none has worked so far.
