print spooler serv not working

My print spooler service is not working for my windows 7 computer. After much ado and attempts to install printer I can get it to work but as soon as computer is turned off I lose it, very frustrating. I get the &quotprinter installed succesfully&quot, but the

computer won't recognize it when I attempt to print.
