Constantly asked to installed two Updates that I've already installed

Hi. I'm running Windows Vista Service Pack 2, 32-bit OS. For the past few days, Windows Update has been telling me that I have Important update: Security Update for Windows Vista (KB2799494) and Optional update: Definition Update for Microsoft Security

Essentials - KB2310138 (Definition 1.145.1925.0). I've installed them, restarted my computer, and not moments later, do I see the Available Updates icon appear and the same updates are there again. I've tried installing them one at a time and restarting before

going onto the next one, but they are still appearing. Can someone please tell me what is going on and how I can fix this? Much Obliged!
