Administrators AWS Posted March 19, 2013 Administrators Posted March 19, 2013 I have tried these 3 methods yet and did not work, even with my anti virus disabled.Method 1 Run Windows Update troubleshooter and check if it helps. a) Press the ‘Windows + W’ key on the keyboard, this will bring the search interface. b) Type in ‘Troubleshooting’ and click on ‘Settings’ for the result. c) Under ‘Troubleshoot computer problem’ click on ‘View all’ on panel to the left. d) Open ‘Windows Update’ troubleshooter. Method 2 Put the computer in Clean Boot state to see if there is any software conflict as clean boot helps in eliminating software conflicts. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135 Note: After performing the troubleshooting steps in clean boot, follow Step 3 from the link to start the computer to Normal startup mode. Method 3 Disable the third party anti-virus program and try to install it. I would suggest you to disable the anti-virus program that you have and then try to install the update. Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you shouldn't disable your antivirus software. If you have to temporarily disable it to install other software, you should re-enable it as soon as you're done. If you're connected to the Internet or a network while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks. Is there anything else that i should try?Thank so much View this thread
